Are course materials for pooled courses going to be vetted to ensure they’re fully accessible for all students, including neurodiverse students (i.e. ensuring they’re compatible with text-to-speech, screen readers, etc.)?

All Colorado Online courses need to meet Colorado Online @ standards, which include accessibility. As part of the collaborative development process, Ready-to-Teach course shells are vetted to ensure they are fully accessible and meet the other requirements outlined in the Healthy Course Checklist. Basic feedback is also being provided to instructors using Interim Instructor Resources (an existing course shell identified as a resource by discipline faculty). Faculty may use some, all, or none of these resources. The instructor and teaching college are responsible for the accessibility of the course.
