How does Red Rocks go from an average of 15 RRCC students enrolled to an average of 25 students enrolled? (slide 6)

In the current environment, RRCC has an average of 15 students in their online courses. In the new model, the average is going to be 25. In the past, there were often RRCC students enrolled in home college section as well as separate sections taught through CCCOnline. The new model provides more opportunities to combine enrollment. For instance, in pooled sections, RRCC students are first assigned to teaching sections taught by RRCC instructors. The remaining capacity in the class is then filled by students from other colleges. RRCC will receive the same amount for teaching a designated section regardless of how many of their students are in the class. The percentage of tuition RRCC receives for having students enrolled in the class is the same, whether the students in the class are from RRCC or a combination of colleges.  RRCC also receives a percentage of the tuition for each RRCC student who enrolls in the class.
