Is there going to be a move toward centralizing and standardizing services, such as tutoring, or a phasing out of centralized option to favor the localized tutoring services for students?

The Consortium is currently working on how student support services will be offered to Colorado Online students. In the strategic plan the Chancellor laid out a goal that Colorado Online will ensure equitable access to support services. This will involve a combination of centralization and localization, depending on the service. We want to have something available so that students, regardless of their home college, have access to tutoring or any other type of service.

For the pilot in Spring 2023, all Colorado Online students had access to central tutoring. Students could also work with local tutors if their Home College provide that option. The student services subcommittee is generating a long-term recommendation about tutoring.
